Mount Sneffels is a stunning peak located in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, towering over the charming town of Ouray. Standing at 14,150 feet, it's a challenging climb and an unforgettable experience for outdoor enthusiasts. 

The hike up Mount Sneffels is challenging but rewarding, taking you through alpine meadows, scree fields, and steep switchbacks. The standard route is the Lavender Col route, which starts at the Yankee Boy Basin trailhead. The round trip is about 7.6 miles, with an elevation gain of 2,935 feet. The trail is well marked, but be prepared for some technical scrambling near the summit.
