Bridal Peak (T11)

From the majestic summit of Bridal Peak, a breathtaking panorama unfolds before your eyes, revealing the azure expanse of Blue Lake, the serene beauty of Columbine Lake, and the tranquil waters of Lewis Lakes.

Tucked away in the rugged San Juan Mountains, this peak holds a unique charm. It's usually hidden from sight, except for a quick glimpse along the winding Tomboy road.

Embarking on this 9 mile round trip adventure, I set out from the Columbine Lake trailhead, following the trail to Columbine Pass. From there, I ascended the south ridge, each step bringing me closer to the summit. The class 2 trail unfolded before me.  As I stood atop the summit, surrounded by the warm glow of the sun, I knew that the journey was worth every step.
