Directions:

From Ridgway, head North 1.8 miles on HWY 550 to County Rd 10. Continue 4 miles on CO Rd 10, turn right on CO Rd 8. Follow the switch backs and continue over Owl Creek Pass. You will pass "Deb's Meadow" near the top of the pass with a wonderful view of Chimney Rock. Road becomes Gunnison CO Rd 860. Turn right onto Gunnison CO Rd. 860A. It then becomes Hinsdale CO Rd. H1. Drive past camps and open meadows. There is a small area to park right across from the trailhead. There are also plenty of nice dispersed camping spots along the road. No Restrooms.
