Houghton & Tuttle Mountains

I started my journey at Animas Forks and made my way up Houghton Mountain. The wind was strong at the top, so I didn't stay there for long. Next, I summited Tuttle Mountain, following the ridgeline all the way across and down to California Pass. I couldn't resist the temptation to visit Lake Como, which was so close by. After taking in the stunning views, I made my way back down California Gulch Road to Animas Forks. It was an unforgettable 11-mile round-trip journey filled with majestic mountains and beautiful lakes.
