Telluride Peak

Telluride Peak is located in the San Juan Mountains - The unmarked trail starts off of the Million Dollar Highway, just north of the summit of Red Mountain Pass. In the 1800's, this was an old miner's trail leading up to Ptarmigan Lake. From the lake, I was able to make my way straight up to Telluride Peak. On this hike, Imogene Pass was still covered in snow.
